I got this one through the Library and was not disappointed.  Its a fast moving thriller and grabs your attention right away.  Owen disappears, leaves a note for his wife, Hannah that says "protect her".  The "her" meaning his daughter, Bailey.  As a stepmom, Hannah has her problems with Bailey.  And so we find ourselves wondering what is going on. Apparently Owen works for a company who was defrauding its investors....and while we dont know why Owen disappeared, you also dont know if he is guilty too.  

Each chapter brings you closer to the truth but the ride is great.  You dont know who to trust (neither does Hannah) and she plays detective herself.  You have the FBI and the Marshalls involved in this one and a few twists and turns.  Loved the story and all the people involved - good and bad.

I rated it 4 stars and now have a new author to follow..
