I purchased this book for a book club and now I have a new author to follow. The story centers around Liv Green who is a housekeeper and cleans the house of a famous writer. This writer, Essie Starling has written a series of 19 books. Essie is not really a nice person and very demanding and soon Liv Green finds out how demanding she is.
When Essie passes she leaves Liv in charge of her final book. And so we follow Liv who tries to step into Essie's shoes. Interesting and a new twist to a delightful story, making you want to turn the page constantly to get to the end.....and then sad because you finished the story.
