I got this book on audio and maybe it was the reader that threw me off, but thought I would enjoy it more. Usually I place a book in DNF if I am not enjoying it but something about the story made me finish it. We center around Elise, a detective, investigating a man's disappearance. That alone did hold my interest. I found the story very slow but also at the same time interesting enough to want to find out what happened to Charlie?
I did get a surprise later in the book to see the part he played in the story and how the detective went about trying to find him. #threestars
