First time reading this author and I must admit love this story. It keeps you on the edge, not really knowing the whole story. Parts of it were weird, but then again, weird things do happen. Emily Proudman is down and out, no money, no job and no hope, waiting to be evicted.
Scott offers Emily a summer job as a housekeeper on his remote, beautiful French estate. Enchanted by his lovely wife Nina, and his eccentric young daughter, Aurelia, Emily falls headlong into this oasis of wine-soaked days by the pool.
Sounds heavenly doesnt it? But there is more behind this job then is showing and so each chapter brings you closer and closer to what Emily really got herself into. Make sure this book is on your TBR list. #fourstars #giveaway #lovetoread
