This book takes you into a look at the Art world during the war.  Many paintings were stolen by the Nazis so we center around Jules, a reporter who is looking for the painting, Woman on Fire.  This painting belongs to Ellis Baum and happens to be of his mother.  Before he dies, he wants to find and reclaim it.

Of course, we now go into the mystery of where the painting is and who will let it be returned to the rightful owner.  I found this book a bit slow in the beginning but it did pick up with so much mystery, thievery, murder and of course romance.
