Review: Regretting You

Regretting You Regretting You by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Morgan Grant and her sixteen-year-old daughter, Clara, would like nothing more than to be nothing alike.

Morgan is determined to prevent her daughter from making the same mistakes she did. By getting pregnant and married way too young, Morgan put her own dreams on hold. Clara doesn’t want to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Her predictable mother doesn’t have a spontaneous bone in her body.

But things turn south when Clara's father and her aunt are involved in a car crash and die. It is only then that Morgan, Clara's mom, finds out the secrets they have been hiding. In an attempt to keep them from her daughter their relationship suffers and Clara resents her. She starts to rebel and Morgan has to fix it before it gets totally out of hand.

Love the mother-daughter story and the grief and friendship they need to go through in the hopes of helping each other. After reading Hoover's other book, Verity, I am happy to read this one because it did not disappoint! #KindleUnlimited #fourstars
