This book became a movie and I never wanted to see it because it looked scary....and not my type of movie. But this book got quite a few 5 stars and great reviews...so I tried it and was amazed and thrilled to read it. Yes it was a bit scary...but intriguing. It takes place on an island, where there is a facility that keeps insane and psychotic individuals and tries to help them either with meds, or worst a lobotomy. Two federal marshals are sent in to investigate the escape of one of the inmates and things do get hairy....especially when a hurricane comes, knocks out the electric and the inmates run wild. But then the book takes a different turn and we find out the real reason the agents are there....or were they? No spoilers here but I would say this is a must read...you will love the twist and surprise.
