Summer on the Island

I have never read a Brenda Novak book that I didnt love.  So when this one came out, I of course snatched it up, read it and gave it five stars.  All her books are warm and a delight to read.  Of course no housework got done until I finished this story.

It centers around Marlow Madsen, who after her father passes, she finds her way back to where she spent her summers on a small island.  Along with her are her two friends, getting away from their drama also.  But like most of this authors books, the story turns into somewhat a mystery because not only does Madsen face old friends (or lovers?) but she soon finds out some of the secrets her father has been keeping.  

My only problem with this book is.....that I finished it.  I now have to wait for her next book although there are still a few older ones I havent read yet.  Need a summer read?  Pick this one up.  #fivestars
