Review: The Empty Nesters

The Empty Nesters The Empty Nesters by Carolyn Brown
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Diana, Carmen and Joanie were army wives. While their husbands were deployed they became best friends, living near each other and raising their daughters. Also in the neighborhood lived Tootsie who was like a mother to them. Along with Tootsie's husband life was good.

And then life changed. Smokey (Tootsie's husband) passes away, Diana becomes divorced and all three daughters enlist in the Army. With their daughters going off to boot camp the women are faced with empty-nesters syndrome. They don't know what to do until Tootsie suggest they get in her RV and travel....seeing sights, visiting Tootsie's friends etc. Along for the ride is Tootsie's nephew who will be doing the driving.

This story is so good, very heartwarming and a page turner. A little laughter, a little romance and lot of fun as you follow their journey as empty-nesters. A must-read. #KindleUnlimited
