Review: The Birthday

This book starts off with a little girl who goes missing from a birthday party. Two years later she is found dead on the grounds where the birthday party was held. Det. Ward is now faced with another child being found dead who happens to be one who also attended the party two years before.

When other girls are turning up dead, it is up to Det Ward to stop it and find out who the killer is. This book doesnt let on who that might be and I found myself reading every chance I got (even in my car) to find the killer. I didnt have a clue and was also surprised when it was finally revealed. Think I love this series and will look into more of Weyer's books with Det. Ward in it.
