Didn't think I would love this book as much as I did. Beginning was slow even though it starts off with Abby Foster plunging into a lake and trying to escape her car. Officer Hale finds her and saves her....and then it begins. This book is filled with everything....murder, romance, thrills, secrets, surprises, love, family.....all in a great story. Abby goes from running away from her past to falling in love, and becoming part of a family who takes her in and protects her. The ending will wow you....definitely a good read. This is part of the "She Can Series"....definitely will read more of Melinda Leigh's books.
