Sycamore Row by John Grisham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Again back in the courtroom continuing with Jake and another high attention court case. When Seth Hubbard commits suicide and leaves a hand written will leaving 90 percent of his estate to the black woman who cleaned his house and took care of him......you know this is going to be a long court case. But as Jake handles it and brings in his own group of experts the results will surprise you. Loved the book and would give it 5 Stars except for the long drawn out detailing of not only the court scenes but also the informational gathering. Too many scenes were repeated and hashed over again and again. But it was a book I could not put down for want of knowing the final verdict.
