Once Upon A Lie by Jill Paterson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book reminds me of an Agatha Christie novel. A real whodunit where even I couldn't figure out the villain. Not only was one case solved but another old one was too.
The characters were quaint and loving even the villains were amusing. I often compqared Fitzjohn to Sherlock Holmes especially with his sidekick Betts tossing back and forth all the details of this case and the people they interviewed. Worth reading.
