Creep, creepier, creepiest......ok, it wasn't creepy and there is a reason Ms Hillier used that word for the title - not telling - but the story leaves you feeling like you are on the edge of a mountain ready to fall. The last chapter got me.

The story - Sheila Tao, psychology professor, has an affair with her grad assistant, Ethan Wolfe, at the same time she is engaged to a wonderful man who adores her. Reason: she's a sex addict...the story winds around her decision to break it off with Ethan, stop the sex addiction and marry - but Ethan wont let her go and what follows is an intense attempt to stop the relationship. Sheila finds herself kidnapped and held captive by Ethan.....follow Sheila's psychological attempt to get Ethan to release her.

Looking forward to reading Hillier's book "Freak" which continues with the story.
