The story of Alessa who at the age of 7 was abused by her uncle even as her mother knew. The story of a girl whose life was one disaster after another. Living on the streets, starving and using any means to survive. We follow her from one horrible experience to another. Until she is rescued and life turns around for her...but does it? Just when you think she is fine....disaster strikes again.

This story was heartbreaking and somewhat graphic. But unfortunately the world is full of homeless people with teenagers among them. An all too real story that makes you think how unfair life could be.
