Review: The Woman At The Door

The Woman At The Door The Woman At The Door by Daniel Hurst
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Havent read a book in a while? Well, may I suggest you get back into reading and pick this books up.  Its starts off with a bang, goes through some amazing powerful and intriguing plot.  It will have you turning pages and not looking at how long you have been reading because you NEED to know what happens next.

What would happen if a woman shows up at your door and tells you your husband has been cheating ....and then disappears?  Definitely one of my favorites by Daniel Hurst.

Review: The Colleagues

The Colleagues The Colleagues by Daniel Hurst
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Do you want to read about craziness? Well pick up this book by Daniel Hurst and follow the lives of three friends who work in the same company.  And then learn what happens when you have a boss who thinks he can get away with anything.

Revenge is sweet they say....but you havent seen revenge until you read this book, because the sweetness keeps piling on and on.  I think I am hooked on this author especially since the mystery begins with his prologues.....if that doesnt drag you into his books, then I dont know what will.

A page turner for sure.  You wont be disappointed.  Now on to his next book!

Review: The Final Wish of Mr. Murray McBride

The Final Wish of Mr. Murray McBride The Final Wish of Mr. Murray McBride by Joe Siple
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After reading the Five Wishes of Mr Murray McBride you have to read the next one.  And so thats what I did because we need to know what goes on after you finish a story that is not quite finished yet.  We again need the tissues because we find Jason Cashman is now handing out wishes .....

If the world was only so kind, it would be a better place.  People helping people or just fulfilling their wishes so that we manage to remain optimistic as we go along in life.  A life that is way to short.  But we are rules by our decisions and Jason has a tough one to make...

A heartwarming story that lets you see the better side of humanity.

Review: The School Reunion

The School Reunion The School Reunion by Shalini Boland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I havent read a Shalini Boland book in a while so decided to check this one out.  No disappointment here. Its funny because my school reunion is coming up and I dont want to go either,  So Chloe is on the fence until she thinks of Nathan, the one that got away.

So she decides to go and of course things dont turn out the way she was hoping.  There is something more sinister going on and she soon finds out nothing is what it seems.  A real page turner and glad I picked this one up.

Review: He Was a Liar

He Was a Liar He Was a Liar by Daniel Hurst
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I seem to be on a Daniel Hurst kick.  One book after the other....and they never disappoint me.  This one kept me turning the pages.  How much do we know about the person we are in a relationship with and supposedly love.  As we find out in this book, when Paul dies and Sarah goes through his belongings....she finds out she did not know him that well.

The book goes on to give us more twists and turns in this book that we come to know the author's means on getting us hooked.  You wont be able to put this one down.

Review: Simply the Best

Simply the Best Simply the Best by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Two people so mismatched you know it was headed for disaster.  When you read this book you wonder how they even got together.  But then again maybe it was fate....or was it.  The story brings you wondering how you can mix chocolate, football and a career all together.  Loved the story and the way things get out of hand only to somehow mix.....like fine chocolate.

Review: The Talk of Coyote Canyon

The Talk of Coyote Canyon The Talk of Coyote Canyon by Brenda Novak
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I had to read this whole series because once you are hooked you just cant drop these stories.  Brenda is a wonderful story teller and her characters are so real you always feel like you know them and love them.  Every page brings you closer to them and while you shut out the rest of the world, you are clearly living in the pages of her books.

Review: The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride

The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride by Joe Siple
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Get a box of tissues ready for this one.  A heartwarming, sad but insightful story.  Yes, you will cry.  We follow Murry McBride and his search for a purpose in his life.  After 100 years he has given up until one day finding ten year old Jason.  The friendship these two form is amazing.  A little kindness goes a long way.

Loved this story, in fact now reading the second one in the series...The Final Wish of Mr. Murray McBride......not my usual genre, but sometimes you just need books like this.
